Eric Eifert is a seasoned cyber security executive with more than 28 years of military and civilian experience in information technology and cyber security. Eric provides executive leadership, consultation and guidance around all aspects of cyber security. He is a cyber security consultant in the United Arab Emirates and a Cyber Security Researcher for the Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna. Previously he was the Sr Vice President of ManTech International in the United States, where he led teams of security and technology professionals. His teams provided customers onsite and remote security operations center services delivering intrusion detection and prevention, security event monitoring and detection, incident investigation, 24/7 continuous diagnostics and mitigation, and event resolution. Eric and his team also assisted customers in designing and building insider-threat detection capabilities; cyber threat intelligence; integrated network and security operation centers; continuous governance, risk and compliance monitoring; and cyber-situational awareness dashboards. Eric also had an honorable career as a Special Agent with the United States Air Force as a cyber crime investigator and taught graduate cyber investigations as an adjunct professor at George Mason University.
