Prof. Georgios Th. Papadopoulos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics and Telematics at the Harokopio University of Athens (HUA), Athens, Greece. He received the Diploma and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He has published over 55 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international venues. He has participated in several EU funded research projects in the security domain, including, among others, LASIE (deputy Technical manager), DANTE (Technical manager) and ANITA (Technical manager). Currently he is the Technical manager of EC security projects Anti-FinTer and Ceasefire. His research interests include computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, Big Data analytics and cognitive systems. Dr. Papadopoulos is a member of the IEEE and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
