Martin Boyer

Martin Boyer, a senior research engineer and project manager specializing in video and security technology, joined AIT in 2011. Martin’s research interests include video analytics frameworks, software architecture, code generation, and scalable video analytics as a service. Martin’s research and developments have been used in various applications, including video processing in EU security research projects such as EU FP7 FastPass project, EU H2020 VICTORIA project or EU HE STARLIGHT project, and Austrian national security research projects such as FLORIDA. Martin also coordinated the Austrian KIRAS security research project defalsif-AI “Detection of false information via Artificial Intelligence”, which focused on audio-visual media forensics, text analysis and the fusion of these technologies using AI. Martin is a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE FL), a Certified Project Manager (IPMA Level D) and a Certified Scrum Master. Currently, Martin Boyer works as project manager for the EU Digital Europe German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory (GADMO) project and coordinates the national security research project “National risk management for CSDP missions using OSINT and PNT monitoring” (PINPOINT).
