fragmentiX Storage Solutions GmbH is an Austrian IT security company founded in 2018 to enable digital sovereignty for individuals, companies and states. fragmentiX is the world’s leading developer and producer of crypto solutions to store data quantum-safe and protect it from loss, destruction, e.g. by ransomware and theft. Cryptographic methods are used to divide files into fragments that are stored in a user-defined combination of private and public data stores. This not only makes stored data immune to current threats, but also protects it from ‘store now, decrypt later’ attacks using future, powerful algorithms and quantum computers. fragmentiX technology is already being used successfully internationally by authorities, companies and academic customers.

fragmentiX is involved in several EU-projects (QKD4GOV, QUARTER, QCI-CAT) that will contribute significantly to Europe’s technological sovereignty with the goal of establishing industry leadership of the Union until 2027.

Secure Biobanks

fragmentiX’s focus has expanded to the Health/Medical sector through partnerships with Medical University of Graz and BBMRI-ERIC. The use of their technology is now widespread among research hospitals, including Milano Bicocca and others. Even smaller biobanks can join the network by using a fragmentiX ONE.

fragmentiX as a Service

In addition to the continuous improvement of their storage appliances fragmentiX – together with their longtime business partner connect4Video – is currently developing “fragmentiX as a Service”. This is an easy-to-use solution that enables clients to utilise the security of fragmentiX without having to worry about integrating hardware.

SINA Secunet

fragmentiX has included the whole SINA Secunet Device range to its product portfolio for EU and NATO classified Data. Thanks to the resulting synergies with fragmentiX’s core products, the company has been able to celebrate great results.
