CYBERTRAP Software GmbH was founded in May 2015 as a spin-off of SEC Consult Unternehmensberatung GmbH. The Vienna-based software producer has grown rapidly since then and currently employs 17 people. The company is the European market leader in deception technology and offers its customers straightforward solutions that sustainably improve their cyber security level.
The deception technologies developed by CYBERTRAP specifically redirect attackers into a specially created IT infrastructure even before they can penetrate further into the actual infrastructure of the company. Within this environment, they can be systematically observed and their motivation, methods and sometimes even their identity can be identified.
