Daniele Sangion, MA, MSc, has been leading international digital transformation programs for major European financial institutions for over 25 years. He currently serves as the CISO/CSO (Head of Digital & Corporate Security) and Head of the Digital Transformation Office at UniCredit Bank Austria, part of the UniCredit Group. Previously, he held Group roles within UniCredit, including Head of Security for major initiatives such as GDPR and Third Party Risk Management. He is a Board Member of the Kompetenzzentrum Sicheres Österreich (KSÖ) and serves on the scientific committee of Clusit and the Advisory Board of the Cybersecurity and Data Protection Observatory at Milan Polytechnic as well as the Executive Committee Tech-Risk Strategy Group (ExCo TRSG) at European Banking Federation. Formerly a Senior Manager at Accenture, he has earned several international certifications in IT, Security, and Management. Additionally, he graduated with honors (110 cum laude) in Computer Science from the Università degli Studi di Milano while working at a software house.
