Guy served twenty years in the British Army in various capacities, including a tour as Deputy Military and Police Adviser in the United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations. He has global operational experiences and a technical background. Upon leaving The Army he went into business, working in Digital Transformation provision. In 2013, he joined the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, subsequently serving as Chief Joint Mission Analysis Centre, Principal Adviser to the Special Representative of the Secretary General and Chief of the Political Affairs Division. Earlier this year he moved to the United Nations Headquarters to lead the Enhancement of Situational Awareness workstream, part of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations’ Digital Transformation Strategy.
