Katrin Nyman Metcalf, Adjunct Professor of Communications Law, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, is also active globally as a consultant on legal issues related digital matters like cyber security, e-governance and human rights in the digital environment as well as media related legal issues. She is Senior Legal Expert at the Estonian e-Governance Academy and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Estonian Human Rights Centre. Professor Nyman Metcalf has published extensively on issues related to law and technology, human rights – especially freedom of expression – and regional integration. Her PhD (1999, Uppsala University, Sweden) is on the law of outer space.
