Michael Latzer, Dr.phil. Mag.rer.soc.oec., is Full Professor of Communication and Media Research at the IKMZ of the University of Zurich, where he chairs the Media Change & Innovation Division. He graduated from the University of Vienna with degrees in Business Informatics and Political Science and a habilitation in Media Economics and Policy. Latzer has researched and taught at renowned institutions in Austria, USA, Japan, Taiwan and France on his main areas of expertise: Internet Economics, Communication Policy, Innovation Research, Technology Assessment and Critical Algorithm Studies.
