Sebastian Kneidinger

Sebastian Kneidinger is a policy advisor at epicenter.works, a Vienna-based civil society organization advocating for digital rights and freedoms. He works on cybersecurity, surveillance policy, and the protection of fundamental rights in the digital space. His focus lies on transparent, rights-based security policies, particularly around biometric surveillance, democratic oversight, and civil society’s role in cybersecurity. With a background in law, data protection, and risk management, he was invited to give an expert statement to the Austrian Parliament on the NIS2 legislation. He previously worked in the financial and consulting sectors.
