Walter Fraissler currently is Head of Information Security at VERBUND at the group level. Over the last five years he has developed and improve VERBUND’s cyber security capabilities and improved the organisation’s maturity in this field together with his team. From 2010 to 2018 he was Group CIO and Head of IT at VERBUND.
He is also vice chairman of the general assembly of Austrian Energy CERT.
Walter Fraissler is holding a Dr. degree from the University of Technology in Vienna in Applied Mathematics.
