Suzette Kahlert

Suzette Kahlert is part of the European New School of Digital Studies (ENS), working as a researcher at European University Viadrina’s chair for sociology of technology where she is investigating algorithmic decision making and content curation of online media platforms for project “DataSkop”, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). She was a member of the doctoral college “Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users”. She has studied sociology, gender studies, comparative literature, philosophy and German language at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich. Her research focuses on (digital) infrastructures, digitization and gender, artificial intelligence, online activism, and qualitative methods.
