Robert Moro

Robert Moro works as a researcher at Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies (KInIT) located in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2017, he obtained a Doctoral degree (PhD.) in Intelligent Software Systems from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, where he also worked as an Assistant Professor from 2017 to 2020. His research interests include AI, machine learning, and user modeling. In recent years, he has worked on several ongoing Horizon Europe projects aimed at researching how AI can be misused to produce mis/disinformation as well as how it can be used to detect or mitigate the impact of disinformation, focusing especially on the text modality.

He is currently involved in several ongoing Horizon Europe projects (such as VIGILANT, about which he will talk more during the forum) focusing on the topic of disinformation.
