Yvonne Kummer works at the Institute of Production and Logistics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). After completing her master’s in Environment and Bio-Resources Management with a focus on Transport and Mobility as well as Waste Management, she is currently doing her doctoral studies at BOKU. As a scientific researcher, she mainly works in three research fields: Supply Chain Logistics, City Logistics, and Construction Logistics. Within these fields, she is an expert in business process modelling and simulation modelling. She is currently participating in a national research project on systemic risk management and resilience for food security and an international project funded by the European Commission concerning sustainable urban logistics and innovative logistics systems.
