Dr Paul Smith is a Senior Scientist and Head of AIT Cyber Range with the Center for Digital Safety and Security at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, and a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University, UK. His research interests focus on the security and resilience of cyber-physical networked systems. Dr Smith has delivered several hands-on cybersecurity training course and exercises for organizations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He is the co-chair of the OCG Working Group on Network Intelligence (NET-IT), represents the AIT at the European Energy ISAC, and is a member of the ACM.
